Lumetra grew out of a simple idea: glasses are not an accessory, they are something you wear all day long.
So we do not keep endless shelves. We keep a selection we have tried ourselves — our own line of frames and a handful of brands we stand behind.
Every pair comes with an eye test, precise centring and unhurried advice.
OUR OWN LINE
The Lumetra line is made here: from the first sketch to the last check before a frame reaches the shelf.
We work in acetate and titanium, with suppliers we have used for years, and every model goes through the same steps — a fitting on the face, a correction of the tilt and a check of the hinges.
What we would not wear ourselves does not go into the collection.
THE SELECTION
Narrow faces, stronger prescriptions, children who wear a frame all day at school — no single model covers all of it.
So we keep a range of sizes and shapes, from thin metal to bolder acetate frames, in tones that are easy to wear.
If the model you are after is not on the shelf, we order it from the brand collection.
HOW WE WORK
First the measurement and a conversation about where and how you wear your glasses. Then the choice of frame, the centring to your measurements and the fitting of the lenses.
Finally a trial and an adjustment — and again whenever it is needed, because a frame loosens over time.
Servicing and tilt corrections stay part of the job after the purchase too.
